PROCEDURE

Hysterectomy

Hysterectomy is surgery to remove the uterus. Whether it is appropriate, and which surgical approach may be considered, depends on the diagnosis, symptoms, previous treatment, overall health and individual clinical factors.

Procedure Planning & Recovery

  • Pre-operative assessment
  • Individual surgical planning
  • Anaesthesia and operative care
  • Post-operative monitoring
  • Recovery and follow-up guidance
Clinical note: Hysterectomy is not automatically required for every patient with fibroids, prolapse or endometriosis. Management should be based on individual assessment.
GYNAECOLOGICAL CONDITIONS
